ACRA CSP Act: What When Why
Corporate Service Providers (CSP) Act 2024 was passed by Singapore Parliament, took effect on 9 June 2025 with CSP Regulations 2025.
CSP Act requires all Singapore business entities providing corporate services including mailing address, virtual office, accounting, tax, to register with ACRA as CSPs.
CSPs have to comply with obligations, including mandatory customer due diligence (CDD), verifying identities of controllers, ultimate beneficial owners and businesss or persons sanctioned by UN, FATF, MAS.
These are Singapore’s measures for anti-money laundering, countering the financing of terrorism and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (AML/ CFT/ PF obligations).

CSPs are legally required to obtain and collect NRIC, passport and or any other personal data or record, to comply with the CSP Act and ensure personal data protection.
